On Thursday 12th, Beyond The Music and Lush will present an interactive pop up experience at Ramona – offering a special lineup of live performances, DJs and experiences at LUSH HOUSE. Part of the collaboration’s ‘Music For Everyone’ free entry live music programme, the lineup includes Crazy P Soundsystem, Alexander Nut b2b Errol, David Walters (Live), UH (Live), and SHEwillprovide.
Speaking about Beyond The Music’s collaboration with LUSH, festival founder Oli Wilson says: “A key mission for Beyond The Music is to make live music and the music business accessible to everyone. I’m so excited that Lush have joined us to support us on this journey, to be influencing positive change in the music industry and making live music discovery something everyone can enjoy.
Lush have also pulled together a very special line up for their Lush House party in Ramona on Thursday night, I am looking forward to starting the festival in fine style.”
‘Music For Everyone’ is a groundbreaking evening of free entry live music in Manchester city centre on Thursday 12th October, supporting grassroots venues and artists while providing free access for everyone.
Access to the Beyond The Music X LUSH HOUSE showcase on Thursday 12th October is available via free tickets, which are available here.
In alignment with the event’s mission to support mental health initiatives, ‘Music For Everyone’ also acknowledges and advocates for the #Endtheburnout campaign – a new collaborative effort between LUSH and Beyond The Music.
A recent study by the MMF (Music Managers Forum) concluded that ‘labels and platforms must break the cycle’, that unhealthy precedents were being created and the industry is still trying to find a solution.
The #Endtheburnout campaign aims to create change-making action within the mental health sector of the global music industry, by creating a voluntary code of conduct that industry professionals including record companies, management companies, artists etc. can sign up to in order to start building a greater understanding of the mental health needs in the industry and how to tackle them.
The launch of #Endtheburnout will commence on Thursday, October 12th at 3:00pm – 4:00pm with a panel discussion as part of Beyond The Music’s change-making industry conference programme.
